Employment Support

Richmond Fellowship provides employment support to primary care services in Hammersmith and Fulham. They also provide recovery and well-being support including advice, peer support, befriending and digital and online support forums.

Our Richmond Fellowship Employment Advisors will work with you, your GP or Back on Track services to ensure that you have the best employment support including access to education, training, volunteering, and work placements as well as support to find and stay in paid work.

You can decide how you want to be supported; whether you want your employer or potential employer to be informed about your mental health support needs and whether your Employment Advisor should talk to them on your behalf. You also decide what kind of job you want, what posts you apply for and how many hours you want to work.

Our Employment Advisors will work flexibly to ensure that you get the support you need even if you are working or studying during the day and can only meet outside of normal office hours.

We will enable you to:

  • identify your goals, aspirations and employment ambitions
  • devise a plan of action and look for learning, development and work opportunities based on your requirements
  • develop your CV, your interview skills, presentation techniques and provide on the job support as required
  • help you to get back to work if you have been off sick or if issues in the workplace are affecting your health and wellbeing
  • help you to access specialist advice and support with benefits.
