Carer’s Network Hammersmith & Fulham Carer’s Support Group
Carers Network support unpaid adult carers looking after someone over 18 who is living Hammersmith & Fulham. A carer is someone who provides help and support to a partner, relative, friend or neighbour who could not manage without this help.

They can offer support with carers assessments and carers personal budgets. They also offer services for when a caring role may be coming to, or have come to, an end and this difficult transition.
They also offer support groups that meet at locations across Hammersmith & Fulham. These informal groups give carers a chance to meet other people in similar situations, to talk about their
experiences and alleviate some of the isolation felt by many carers.
Action on Disability
This service exists to support adults, their family or carers who may be entitled to or are
receiving Adult Social Care. HAFAD (Hammersmith and Fulham Action for Disability)
provides the service and it is available to those who live in or use services of Hammersmith
& Fulham Council.
This is a UK website that provides information on how to get a Carer’s assessment and cope as a
carer. They also provide an online forum for individuals to add their experiences, and read about others experiences, for support. They are also able to offer an expert telephone advice and support service.
