Manage Your Mind: The Mental Health Fitness Guide by Gillian Butler and Tony Hope

This is an excellent book outlining seven common sense strategies to help people maintain mental fitness (e.g. problem solving, keeping things in perspective, building self-confidence and self-esteem) with additional chapters on depression, anxiety, worry, relationships and breaking habits.

There is a book series knows as the ‘Overcoming’ range, which provides excellent advice based on cognitive-behavioural therapy. All of these books are listed on the website and are available online through Amazon and in lots of bookshops and some local libraries.
