We know that keeping your job or finding a job can be difficult when you are feeling anxious and depressed. Our team includes employment coaches who can:
- Help to find the right training course for you
- Guide you in your career choice
- Help out with job applications and interviews
- Support you in your workplace
You can work with an Employment Coach, who can provide you with vocational assessment and advice, one-to-one support, motivation and signposting to other services. Each Employment Coach can support you to develop your own pathway toward employment. This will be tailored to meet your individual needs and aspirations and will be realistic and achievable. All of our employment coaches can help you with the following:
- Job search assistance
- C.V. preparation
- Interview techniques
- Practice interviews
- Support as you return to work: during those early months as you adjust to a new working environment.
If you are already working and experience difficulty in the work place then an employment coach can provide you with support and assistance whilst you deal with your challenges and decide how you wish to proceed, including support if you wish to change positions or careers.
If employment is not your initial goal, we can provide information, advice and guidance on finding courses to update your skills; and offer you opportunities to gain relevant qualifications.
If you would like a work taster we can also help with finding work placements.
All the employment coaches at Back on Track work for Mental Health Matters.
